Not so long ago, when major companies were thinking of investing in or relocating to regions such as North Cork, all their questions were about available industrial space, advance factories, etc.  Now, the main questions are about the availability of the right people and the necessary skills …  

In order to entice into North Cork a number of new successful businesses, the NCEB is working with the national and local agencies and local business groups, especially Fermoy Business Association and Mallow Chamber.  Our dream is to work with these Partners so that new jobs will be created in our region, offering you (if you are commuting to work in Cork City or Limerick City) equivalent or better employment within walking distance of your home … what a great improvement that would be in the life of any Commuter!
